Owners, Justin and Katie purchased The Downtown Grill from a family-friend, Wayne Smith. Wanting to continue the tradition of delicious food, Justin and Katie decided to keep a central theme of wings and burgers, but added their own flare to the menu as well.
Justin previously helped run Carlton's (Katie's parents' restaurant), and fell in love with the restaurant industry. Justin and Katie bring years of combined experience with them, and are excited to continue the tradition of success at The Downtown Grill.

Justin and Katie have been loyal patrons of The Downtown Grill since they were in high school, gathering in the small-time diner before Cullman High football games.
